This policy covers Voltage Tree Services LLC. It explains what we collect when you use voltagetreeservice.com or contact us, why we collect it, and who sees it. It also covers what you can ask us to do about it. We wrote it in plain English on purpose.

2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and the address of the property the work is at.
- What you tell us about the job: what you need, photos you send, access notes, and anything else you choose to add.
- Messages: texts, emails and voicemails you send us. We keep them so there is a record of what was agreed.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, the site that sent you here, rough location from your IP address, your browser and device, and the time.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see section 7.
What we do not collect
We never ask for card numbers on this website. We do not collect Social Security numbers. We do not knowingly collect anything from children under 13.
3. Why we use it

4. Text messages and calls
Give us your phone number and we may call or text you about your job. That means confirming a time, telling you we are on the way, or following up an estimate.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive texts in order to hire us.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with your job. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, and HELP for help. We honour STOP requests promptly.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, other than the messaging providers that carry the message on our behalf.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, and we do not trade it.
We share it only with:
- Firms that work for us: web hosting, phone and text carriers, email, scheduling and invoicing. They may only use it to do that one job for us.
- Anyone you ask us to talk to: your insurance adjuster, your landlord, your property manager, if you tell us to.
- Where the law requires it: a subpoena, a court order, or a legal obligation.
- To keep people safe: where we believe we need to, to stop harm, fraud or a threat to someone.
6. How long we keep it
We keep job records, estimates and messages for as long as our tax and record-keeping rules require. That lets us answer questions about work we did.
Website usage data is kept for less time. When we no longer need something we delete it, or we strip your name off it.
7. Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses:
- Strictly necessary cookies, which make the site work. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies, which tell us which pages people read and how they got here. We use this to make the site better. It is not used to identify you personally.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Block the necessary ones and parts of the site may stop working.
Most browsers offer a Do Not Track setting. There is no agreed standard for what a site should do about it, and we do not act on it today.
8. Your choices and your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it, unless we are required to keep it
- Stop texting or emailing you

If your state has a privacy law
Several states now give people similar rights. You can ask what we hold, correct it, delete it, or take a copy. If you live in one of those states, contact us and we will treat your request under your own state's law.
9. Security
We take sensible steps to keep your information safe. This website uses an encrypted connection. Only the people who need your details can see them.
No website is completely secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. We cannot promise absolute security, and nobody honestly can.
10. Other websites
This site links to Google, and may link to other places. Their privacy practices are their own and this policy does not cover them.
11. Children
This site is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect anything from them. If you think a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.
12. Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear.
