Voltage Tree Services LLC wants this site to work for everyone. That includes people using a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, or a small screen.
What we have done
- Every page works by keyboard alone. There is a visible focus outline and a skip link
- Text and background colours are chosen to meet contrast guidance
- Headings are structured in order so a screen reader can navigate the page
- Every meaningful image carries a text description
- Buttons and links are sized to be tapped comfortably on a phone
- Animation switches off for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion
- Text resizes without the layout breaking
What we are aiming at
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, level AA. We test as we build. We do not claim perfection, because automated testing misses things.
